This looks set to be a crazy term ahead. 4 lab reports, 1 pilot plant report, 2 projects, 3 different committees’ events on top of the normal school work. I guess I should have expected it.

Pilot plant is quite a fun yet scary experience. Imagine being thrown into an actual plant with all the huge pipes and machines and having to work one of them without really knowing what's going on. The place is really huge and our machine is 2 stories high. Well unlike the normal labs where even if you do something wrong the worse case scenario is that the test tube you are holding explodes in your hands. I suspect it won’t take very much for the plant to blow up if we forget to open the right valves when the machine is operating for example. Be warned, stay away from the Chem. Eng dept next Monday and Tuesday when we actually will run our experiments on the plant. Just in case =p
